Well, another week has gone by and i've been a terrible blogger. Last i bloged about John being sick, but as soon as i finished it hit me and we've both had terrible chest colds ever since, although the last few days we've been feeling better well, just still stuffed up. Last night Manti took state in basketball, we went down to Richfield to watch and it was pretty exciting! Then today for dinner we're having our hometeachers and their wives over for dinner. It should be fun, but we weren't really planning on it so we only have a tiny 2 lb roast, i'm just hoping its going to be enough...

Well, its been a while...

Well, to start off with, We had a mishap with the car bumper. I guess John was just backing up, and didn't know he was on a volcano shaped thing of ice, so as he backed up it ripped the bumper right in half and almost off. We figure its good enough for now but i guess soon enough we'll have to go visit ol Doug....again. Anyway, its been a little crazy past few days, for one, John and i decided to go watch Peter wrestle up in orem on Thursday, for valentines because neither of us had work or school, it was fun and we went to the temple but it wasn't until we got home, that night, around 8:30 that we realized that we were supposed to take a sister in our ward who just had a baby dinner that night. Needless to say, they had already eaten something and i haven't stopped feeling terrible about it yet. I've got to make it up to her somehow...any ideas? The rest of her meals are already planned for a while, so i don't know what to do. Anyway, Valentines day was fun besides that, when we got home from Provo, John had planned and prepared my favorite meal (cincinati Chili) for us! His mom had came by while we were still gone and set it all up with candles and flower and we even got a brand new red table cloth. It was exciting and so fun and yummy but i do think it stressed out his mom pretty bad, i feel really bad about that. We really appreciate all our family does for us since we do live so close, its really nice and they are all wonderful! Anyway, i get to teach the lesson at church tomorrow, so i need to start preparing. John usually is a huge help in preparing my lessons but he's sick in bed today, really aching with a sore throat and stomach, and cough. Its no fun watching him hurt. I hate it, but for now he seems to sleeping soundly so thats a plus. Anyway, remember the honeymoon? When John got in the hot tub with my brand new, 3 month old camera in his pocket? Well, for Valentines day he also replaced it so now i have a brand new camera! And i am so excited to use it! Here's just a few pictures we took to try it out, it works pretty good!
Anyway, life is good, once John's feeling better and lesson is over, it'll be even better!

So this is what me and John do everytime We have a spare second, its really fun and John doesn't get too mad when i always win (wink, wink).

False Alarm!!!

Well I know if just posted that my husband was sick a few hours ago, but i we just heard from the Doctor that his TB is not active. Thank goodness for that. It is in it's latent phase so he does have to take antibiotics everyday for 9 MONTHS! Crazy I know but thats the only way to make sure it doesn't become active and contagious.

This snow is insane and i'm loving it.... So we've decided that there really isn't much to blog about without kids but i'll keep trying anyway, its official that we're moving to Logan in August. I've got a full tuition scholarship so hopefully i'll be able to graduate with my degree in exercise science in about a year, and John probably has 2-3 more years there. Sounds like we'll got there just in time for Dan and Steph to leave, if they really are leaving. Oh well, we're so excited to get to Logan, to be able to start our own life together. We love being close to family, and we'll come back eventually but it'll also be nice to get away.

My sick husband....

Well, many of you may have heard about the turberculosis scare at Snow College, it's been all over the news. Anyway, we thought John had better get tested so he went in, and sure enough he tested positive. Well, testing positive doesn't necessarily mean that he's got it, he had to get a chest x-ray last Thursday and we still haven't got the results back. We're guessing he probably doesn't have active TB because we think they'd most likely be more worried about it if he did, and he doesn't have any of the symptoms so we figure he's probably okay. It was kind of a scare though because his chest has been hurting him for a few months now. Anyway, we'll keep you updated but until then, try not to let John cough on any of you.... it could be contatious. Hahaha, Just kidding, but i wanted to post a picture we took of ourselves at the hospital while we were waiting for the x-ray, it was just so funny because they made us both wear face masks and locked us in a room so we couldn't contaminate anything... Anyway, just picture the picture in your head, you'll get a good laugh.
