I am absolutly obsessed with decorating these days (just ask my husband), i'm just so sick of the boring nature-y look of my house and i just want it to look like us, and right now it doesn't.... so, i'm trying to figure out the look i want, what is actually me??? And i'm working on it, and i think it's coming....slowly but surely.... sometime i will get it figured out, but in the meantime, does anyone have any ideas???? Here's some pics i like ;)
I love the bed and colors, and in the other one, i love the couch!
Man i love this bathroom and i love the living room too, especially the wood things above the one couch.... But now what do i do???

I love your style. I used to cut out pictures I liked and put them in a binder. It came in helpful when I did get to do something special with my home. Computers sure make collecting ideas easier. I can't wait to see how you start adding all these great ideas. I think I see red in your future ;)
wow those are all so nice! i'd so do any of those if i could afford them. i'm too poor to do anything cool. :( one day is all i keep telling myself.
whoever becky is... she is smart. that is exactly what I was going to say- make a binder with all the things you like. cause honestly this helps SO much in making sure you don't get buyer's remorse. Which is the worst thing ever when we all are college students. I've definitely bought things and then hated them the next day because they were more of a impulse buy. Just keep note of why you like the things you do too, it helps so much to create the whole look your going for.
Hey, my husband Matt was one of John's mission buddies. Anyway, you should take a look at Home Again - it's a consignment store in Salt Lake. There's one at 1019 E 2100 S and the other is on 7490 South Holden St (700 West). They're such fun stores, and I think you'll love everything in them (if you happen to get down to Salt Lake anytime). There is also the fabulous IKEA, we love that place, too. Hope you two are well. The Andersons
I love these rooms.. I think that sometime soon we should have a girls day and drive down to the Tai Pan in Layton i think it would be so much fun!!!
Now what you do is sit back and dream....cuz most things like this cost money...honey. Someday you can make your house exactly as you want it.
good thing john's handy - i bet he could whip up some headboards and stuff! i LOVE LOVE LOVE all the pics you have. at first i thought they were your house and i was thinking that you got a WAY SUPER good deal. good luck with decorating!
Okay, I am a do-it-myself kinda girl...I keep pictures too and go back to them when I find something good...
an old door will work on its side for the red headboard in one of your pictures - DI was my favorite for these kind of things..and it looks good with a little of paint and sanding. Good luck, your taste is great and you will make it all work...
