Saturday was was such a fun day! It started out with John going to play tennis and i went on a walk/run with Emily, on my run i stareted noticing all these pretty flowers along the road so after John got home, me and him went for a ride and gathered flowers and other things, it was so fun and i just loved!!! my flowers :).
After that, we went and played tennis, it was so fun and i'm getting better than i have been, i love tennis and we go play whenever we can.
John had also brought a soccer ball and a frisbee so we played for a little bit but i got distracted with the camera, i wish i was a photographer and could take really cool pictures, so i started having john pose, and here are some of the results :)....

On the way home he picked me even mores (Oh i love him) and when we got back, he learned how to play the song Grow old with you on his guitar and sang it to me, it was so sweet, except for the part when it says he'd do the "dishes in our kitchen sink", and then told me that that part didn't really apply to our situation.... looks like i get to keep doing them....
(P.S. John's all talk :), he does the dishes whenever i ask him to, and doesn't complain too much about it either ;) )

I know i know
So I know its been forever since i've blogged and i'm so sorry! It's not like we haven't had anything to blog about, we're just both been so busy! I've got another job at the bookstore in recieving, but John still doesn't have a job yet. He's been so busy with school so its been a good thing for him but he probably needs to get one soon, he's still trying. Anyway on Sunday john got a calling in our ward, he's the chair setter upper :). Every single sunday we fill up the gym because our ward is so huge, so he gets to go a half hour early and set up. Then i got a calling yesterday and I'm going to be in the Nursery! i was kinda shocked with that calling but i'm excited, it'll be interesting. John's got a new skateboard and he loves it! He wanted one for trasportation but he uses it more to feel like he's a punk kid again ;). No i'm just joking but he does love to ride it and he practices jumping in the driveway over a piece of food... he's funny. Anyway, we've been having the hardest time finding parking here at USU because there is none! Last week we parked almost a mile away from campus on a road that was full of other cars so we figured it was fine, little did we know it was only 2 hour parking and when we got back to the car in the afternoon after all of our classes, not only did we have a ticket but we had 2! They had given us one at 10:30 and another one at 12:30, ridiculous i know, we were pretty upset. Actually, i'm trying to appeal at least one of them so we'll see how that turns out. We've started parking at the transit center and taking the bus up to campus, its just easier.... Well, life is good, we love it up here and are having a good time with everyone that we know, we still go to Cafe Sabor every wednesday (Cheap night, super yummy) but tonight we're not going to because John's been begging me to cook deer, so i did, we'll see how it tastes. Anyway, life is good, and we're been blessed, we're most definatly grateful. i'll post pictures when i get home :), Promise :)

Today...
Oh wow! I feel so bad about that last post! I'm such a complainer, but John and i are hanging out at the university today because the exterminators just came so we can't go back quite yet, hopefully that will do it! Thanks for all the advice! We'll get rid of them thats for sure. I just hope once we do, they'll never come back.... Life is good, John's waiting to hear on a couple jobs tomorrow, they both sound promising and would be good. My job ends next week when rush is over so i'm looking again, but i've been so blessed to have something all the time, I'm almost ready for a little break.... But we love it here, we're been having tons of fun, it's been fun to have friends from snow just house's away and then we've been making new friends too, last night we went to Club Sabor with Chad and Emily and it was way fun and such good food! It's mexican and Wednesday nights are Aggie night specials and john and i got our whole meal and were full for just $6! it was great, best burrito i've ever had :), the company wasn't bad either ;) (Thanks Emily, for the invite!). Anyway, life is good and we truly are blessed! We miss everyone though! Keep up your blogs so we can know whats going on!

Our House is Crawling!!!
Everything is crawling with ants and i'm ready to throw a fit! Today i went to use the laptop and as soon as i opened it up hundreds of ants started pouring out of the keyboard! I'm just so frustrated and i so badly want them all to just disappear! John and i are quite used to smashing ants 24/7 with our fingers ugh, i'm kinda upset.... Anyway, if anyone knows some secret about getting rid of ants, we'd love to hear it!
Today was our first day of school, mine was awesome, my first class was let out 20 minutes early, my second was institute which was good and my third, all that happened was we showed up, and were told that our instructer is in Beging at the Olympics all week so we don't have class again til next wednesday! It was pretty exciting. John's was a little more...hard... He has all 4 of his classes monday, wednesday, friday but mine are spread out. And John's got hard classes, i just have fun interesting ones that i'm excited for. Anyway, i did end up cashiering for 8 hours strait, and that was killer but i'm home now and i'm super excited for bed! John still doesn't have a job, if any body knows of any jobs around here, please let us know! Thanks

We Made It!
So here we are in Logan! We made it and i finally feel like everything is put away... well most everything, and we got the internet! We're so excited! I started working at the USU Bookstore last wednesday and worked there everyday since then. It's fun, and i've never done cashiering before so its kinda fun to scan things and stuff like that, it reminds me of when me and my sister and friends used to play store in our foodroom :). Anyway, life is great, we love the house, except for the ants (i think they built ours on an ant hill but they're working on getting the exterminators over to spray the foundation, but until then, i'm obsessed with vaccuuming up all the ants over and over and over again.) We've met a lot of new friends since we got up here and been with a lot of old friends too so its been fun. Natalie stayed with us while she was homeless inbetween apartments and it was fun to have her here too, she moved into her place yesterday though so now its kinda weird to be just me and John but we love it. I'll post pictures of our house sometime soon after i hang out more stuff but until then.... We start school on Monday so wish us luck!!!

We're Moving! So here's some pic's of our apartment now :)
Lake Powell!!!
We had the best weekend ever at Lake Powell, i've missed going so much! We used to go 1-2 times a year but haven't been for 2 years now so it was so good to go! And it was sure fun especially to have John a permanent part
of the family this time :). Anyway, we had so much fun just playing, John and I discovered snorkling and it was a blast, i'd never really been able to do it but i feel like i could go on and on and on now, we had so much fun just chasing fish, i can't imagine how cool it would be in the ocean, someday we'll have to do it for sure. (Thanks Jay). I also finished New Moon and Started Eclipse while we were on the houseboat and honestly, i liked them even better the 2nd time through. I just recently finished Breaking Dawn and i guess i really did like
it, it ended the only way it could have happily but i thought the things that came out of nowhere were kinda weird... I don't know but i think i might read it again because i have this problem, when i read and i really want to know what is going to happen i start reading really fast and then forget to pay attention to any details... so it might help to read it again. Anyway, back to Lake Powell!!! We had fun cliff jumping, boating, skiing, wake boarding, waverunning (thanks to Anna and Kyle) and i want to sell John
motorcyle and his bow and buy a boat :) LOL, we might have to sell a little more than just those but someday..... Anyway, thanks for the fun trip! Here's some Pic's.
There was flooding on the way home! It was crazy, and sad...
Birthday Pictures Finally!!!
I'm just barely getting around to getting some of these pictures up, so here' s a few from my birthday...again...i guess you could say i'm milking it for all its worth hahaha, JK but i just wanted to post some! Enjoy!
A big breakthough for me....
Well, this morning i decided something as i was running, that something was that i HATE to wear wigs! For those of you who don't already know, i wear a wig because i have alopecia, but this wig keeps me from doing all the things that i love to do and i'm sick of it! Its annoying to run because the plastic on your head just makes it sweat like crazy, I can't swim without worrying the whole time that it might come off, i can't enjoy myself at lake powell because i'm afraid to show the real me, i can't tube down high speed rivers like i would love to because i'm worried i'll get tipped and then loose my hair, i get scared at amusement parks, not because i'm a sissy but because i don't want my hair to fall off on some insane rollarcoaster, i can't enjoy myself at any beach because the waves would definitely take it right off. I can't pull my hair back and get it out of my eyes up into a ponytail. And I'm even worried around little kids that they might accidentily pull it off. This all may sound stupid but its real. There are so many things that i would love to do, that i'm dying to do, but i don't dare because of my hair.
This morning while i was running, i decided that i'm through, sure i'll still wear it to work (they didn't hire a bald girl), to church, to stuff like that but i'm sick of it being some big secret because really, its who i am, i sure don't like having this disease but honestly, there's nothing i've been able to do about it in the past and i doubt there's much i'll be able to do about it in the future. For those of you that had no idea that i wear a wig and are wondering what in the world alopecia is, keep reading...
When i was 11 years old, my hair started falling out, it began with just a really high hairline in the back but then continued falling out in different spots all over my head, it would usually fall out, and then grow back. All through middle school and high school i did my best to cover the bald spots with the hair that i did have but by the time i was a senior there just wasn't enough and i had to get a wig. When this was all happening i had started dating John. He always knew that something was wrong with my hair but never pushed it, and i didn't tell him for a while. At the beginning of our senior year, i finally told him and the cool thing was is he didn't care. When we decided that it was time that i needed to start wearing a wig, John was the one that shaved the hair that i did still have so that the wig would fit better. He was there for me through everything and he loved me anyways. I've actually been so blessed with great friends and family who were always supportive and loving of this thing that i was always so embarrassed and angry about. Doctor's always told me it was stress related but who doesn't stress out when their hair keeps falling out? I've always wanted to know why this had to be my trial, why did i have to go though this? I mean, most people go through trials and then their done, but my trial is never ending, it doesn't get over, it ju
st gets worse. Its been a hard thing in my life but when i look back, i realize how lucky i am to have my family and friends around. I'm grateful for my parents, for spending all the money they did on different doctors to try to find the source of the problem. I'm grateful for them for spending $850 every 8 months or so because i needed a new wig. I'm so grateful for John for always being by my side and understanding when i just can't take it anymore and i'm grateful to him for marrying me when he realized what a high maintenance person i have to be because of my hair. But you know what, i don't want to spend $850 anymore on wigs, i'd much rather use that money for something else, i don't want to be sad and emb
arrassed anymore because of something i can't control. Everybody else still loves me and i guess it's time i start loving myself and learning to live with the things i've been challenged with.
I'm not going to be afraid anymore to go running without my hair, i'm not going to be afraid to enjoy myself no matter what i'm doing and i'm going to start to live my life to the fullest. Its time to let it go and i hope i can do it. So here i am, no secrets, no nothing, just me.

I guess its time again
Well, my husbands finally home! He got back last tuesday and its been great to have him back. Thanks everyone for all of your encouraging comments too, i've really appreciated it and needed it this last week or so. Well, Thursday i finished my last test for my last class and now i'm completely done with my summer classes! I'm so happy and relieved and i've celebrated by starting to re-read all the twighlight books to prepare for the 4th, its out already (yesterday) but i need a little refreshing before i start it.... i've already heard though, that its kind of a disappointment, but i'm going to read it anyway because i've always wanted the disappointing thing to happen (bella ending up with Jake, i just really like him:)... it's been so nice to relax, without having to worry about school! I guess i'll enjoy this for a few weeks until it starts all over. Anyway, this last weekend was also our ward campout, it was alot of fun. John and i drove all the way up there, the 2 of us on his 1 person motorcycle. It was such a long ride, all the way up to skyline and down wagon road but i was fun, and he let me have the foot pegs for most of the ride (what sweetheart :) ). We took our three man tent and our friends the Piepers stayed in it with us, it was crowded but a lot of fun. I just love camping, being in the mountains, being able to enjoy the fresh air and the millions of stars. It was fun. And Today, we celebrated my birthday. My mom made cincinnati chili and cheesecake. They were both so yummy and for my birthday i got a cute apron and food storage... i guess the last one wasn't the most exciting gift i've ever gotten but i do realize its important and i am thankful for it! Thanks mom and dad! Love you guys! We've been pretty crazy busy since John got home on tuesday, as you can see. And its just going to keep getting busier because this week we're going to Lake Powell! (i'm so excited!) and the next week is the elk hunt, then the week after that we're moving to Logan! We're definitaly excited for the big move but i guess i probably should start packing now since we're going to be gone for most of the time before! Anyway, i'm sorry that this was kind of a boring post but i just wanted to catch up on whats been going on. I love you all and i'm so thankful and lucky for great friends and amazing family, thanks for your love and support!!! Oh and check out the amazing beard my manly husband can grow in just a few short weeks....
For my birthday, i asked if we could leave it for a few days because he just looks so good with it! We trimmed it up a bit, and took clippers to it after this last picture, it was short and nice. When he got sick of that he shaved everything but a sole patch and it looked dang good too. I'm so glad he's home!
