Fall Fun

We went up the BEAUTIFUL wellsvilles....And went on a little hike....We hiked to a beautiful lake (AKA: A puddle)

And saw a bear (not pictured)---but not to worry, we had John's trusty bow and his mighty fine aim....

And we made it home just fine...AND saw some AMAZING sites

We really enjoy taking Jack with us on our adventures, he seems to like them too :)

This is a separate adventure-up Logan CanyonJohn's purpose was to shoot a pine hen with his long bow. Mine was to find enough pine cones to make an awesome wreath. My mission was accomplished......... John's was not.

Mom, Debbie, Simeon, Dane and friend Michael came to visit this weekend. Somehow this is one of the only pictures i have to prove it. I'm pretty sure somebody was taking pictures the whole time, i just guess it wasn't me....

But i did snag a picture of my mom's wreath we made with the pinecones, it was beautiful. Mine is still a work in progress since we ran out of glue sticks....and pinecones.... good thing we know where to find some more :)
All in all we've been having a wonderful fall, i LOVE fall!

So i've started running again, not a whole lot but what i do sure feels nice. Anyway, lately John and Jack have come with me to the river walk, i run it while they walk it. This was just after we got Jack all bundled up and ready to go, i think its SO cute!

Jack and I also went and visited Dad at work the other day, ate with him. This is John and Jack enjoying the ribs :)

how can something so little, be so perfect and so full of love? I love my little man. I love being his mom. Oh, and i'm watching for a BOB revolution stroller to come my way, if anybody knows where i can get a good deal on one (besides KSL and Craigs list) let me know :)

Home, conference, blessing. Great weekend

Our sweet eskimo boy on his way to the blessing. I LOVE his outfit, John was blessed in the same one :) We were so blessed with TONS of people supporting us and little Jack in Manti. I'm so glad i got sick last time we planned the blessing and had to end up doing it in Manti, it was so fun to have so much family able to come. We love our families! Thanks for you support!

Four generations on my side. John's grandma left before we could snag a picture of his four generations. Its weird to think if i'd of had jack just 2 years before, i could have had a 5 generation picture. We miss you Grandma Giles!

I lOVED general Conference. I'm always so excited to read the talks again later, especially the ones that i miss. I'm excited for the ensign. We wow, i've felt so blessed all weekend long, we're so blessed to have living prophets to teach us the way to go, we're so blessed to have such wonderful, supportive family, and i'm so blessed to have such an amazing man for a husband. Oh, and we're sure blessed to have Jack, we still love him ;)

John had to bring his fishing pole, that sad part is that since he was holding Jack in insisted on trying to fish, he warned me it would be find of hard with the river, the mosss, the tree's all around etc but i thought i could do it. Anyway, with the first cast i got a snag on the bottom of the river and lost John's bran-new favorite Lure, never even used before....and i didn't catch anything.

If i'd-a known he was THROWING UP i don't think i'd be posing for the camera, he sure pulled a fast one on me... He does that a lot....Jack's now over a month old....wow times flying.

Our fun walk by the river the other day, we used the snuggly and LOVED It! I ordered a sling, and it came so fast, i was so excited, but it got here, and it was the wrong size dang it! I have to send it back and wait again....

I thought having babies only made moms crazy.... apparently that isn't true

John and I have a nieghbor (who wishes to remain annonymous http://carterpeople.blogspot.com/) that I swear wants to be just like John, he's ALWAYS wearing the same outfit as him....weird, i know....YES PEOPLE, John really is THAT cool ;)

Jack's first fishing trip, it was so exciting that he just slept through it...

We were having a little but of some diaper issues....Low rider!

This is how i love to burp Jack, he just totally relaxes when i hold him like this, i especially love it when he holds my hand too :)
