Christmas! Dinners! Snow Boarding! Sunsets! and NO MORE WAITING!

2 weeks ago John and I were asked to speak in sacrament meeting, that same day i had to teach Young Womens too, it was a crazy weekend, and i was very stressed, but so relieved when it was over. Our computer had a virus so we didn't get to use it as a source, we just had to use all the books as references but it ended up being great.
Emily, Peter, and John and I went snowboarding at brighton on the food pantry day for $15 and a bag of canned foods. It was a blast, but it sure was cold that that day, the sun was out but the wind was blowing, good times....
I made this spagetti squash spagetti for dinner a few nights ago and it was amazing! We loved it, and i wish i took a picture while the salad was still on the plate, it was gorgeous ;).

We went to John's family Thomas Christmas Party last weekend in Provo and this was the drive up, it was a beautiful sunset (you really can't tell in the picture but it was). The party was fun, it was fun to be with family because it had been a while.

And we're sure not waiting for snow any longer! We keep getting dumped on. After Christmas we came home to 8 new inches of snow, it was wild and we couldn't even get into our driveway because of the snow plow. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Christmas was awesome, we spent Christmas eve with John's family in Ephriam, Christmas morning with mine, then Christmas morning with John's (They wake up later then mine do) and then the rest of Christmas day with mine until that night and then we headed back to John's house. It was fun to be with everyone, although jumping back and forth got a little old, i think next time, we'll just spend more time with one of them and then switch off years.

For Christmas i got snow boots from my mom and a pair from John (thats the only thing i could think of that i wanted) i got decorations for our house from John parents which i love ;) and my mom made the cutest aprons for all of us girls, there's a picture of debbie in her's down here somewhere.....John also got me the most beautiful picture of the Manti temple which he and a friend made, I love it! John got a sleeping bag, bullets, beanie, money, a flashlight, a couple movies and i gave him a recurve bow and snow pants.
Here's our matching beanies from John's parents, we love them!
Here's John and i with our stockings Christmas morning ;) Debbie was hilarious, everytime she opened a present she could put it on, she's got a pair of new clothes, her cute apron and her gloves on for this picuture...
Peter got mostly clothes i think, and Dane got this awesome Ripstick, we've been riding it all week.
Christmas night we headed over to Jay and Lauries for a potluck dinner with the Pili's who came to visit. It was fun to see them!
Anyway, there's a little catch up of us, i'm so grateful for family! We love them all so much and it was so good to be home and with family. Merry Christmas everyone! And a happy New Year!

We're still waiting....

We're still waiting for the winter wonderland outside but on the inside it sure does look like Christmas! I've been decorating and i think i've finally figured out my style of decor, its Christmas! I love the way it looks and i love the colors, so my house is going to look just like i want it to for at least 1 month of the year ;). Here's some pic's...our front room!(Above)
And here's my kitchen, i finally got something up on the wall ;)
Here's our entertainment center

Our super-cute christmas tree! And i covered our couch with our red sheet to make it look more christmasy, i like how it turned out ;)

I also finally got some stuff on my built in shelf, its about time. I guess these are some new pictures for most that haven't been to our house, but we love it! It's been so perfect for us. I love this time of year, everyone just seems happier, Merry Christmas!!!!

Crafty....

Hey! So you guys all know that i'm on this decorating kick, so i saw a picture of these really cute christmas decorations (painted, antiqued, picture frames that have colors and stuff on the inside). They were super cute so i went and bought a few little pictures frames for cheap and painted them today. Thats as far as i've gotton, but i thought it would be so fun if us Logan girls got together on saturdays (while John's at work) and make different cool things. Let me know if anyone whats to be crafty with me ;)!

Happy Halloween!!!

Halloween was a blast, John and I still aren't very good at the whole creative, dress up part, so for this year, John was the farmer, and i was the farmers wife. It was kinda cool, but what was way cool was John "Sweet" belt buckle, it says on it "should-a bin a cowboy" in a hick kinda way. John made it all by himself ;) And me, i just look for any opportunity to wear my sweet apron, and it seemed to fit the part!

Some of our neighbors had a party that we went to, and at the party we had all kinds of famous people, We had Dash.....

And we even had Edward Cullen......and his Witch Wife ;)

It was a fun day, thanks Frustaci's!

RYAN SHUPE!

John and i went to the Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband concert on thursday night and it was so much fun! They had 2 openers, and they would have been good if the drums weren't turned up so high, all it was was noise! But when the Rubber band got up, it was so fun, they're just soo entertaining!

Natalie was there too on a date so they ended up sitting next to us, good times.....

I could do this forever ;)

Happy Anniversary to Us! (yesterday). I can't believe that we've already been married for a year! Yesterday morning John and i talked about what were were doing exactly 1 year ago, we would have been getting ready, at our own houses to go the the temple to be sealed together forever! I was nervous, and so was John but it most definately was the best decision i've ever made! I'm so so so grateful to have such an amazing husband, he really is so good to me. When i got home from running, he had a candle light breakfast on the table with a really sweet note that said to not worry about dinner because he had it under control. So sweet, i actually had dinner in the works because i was planning a nice romantic candle light dinner too, but i ended up doing it tonight instead. For dinner John took me to FireHouse Pizza and it was so good (gormet pizza and F'Hzookie-awesome) and then we came home and watched a movie. It was so nice just to be able to be together and NOT working on homework :). Anyway, this is probably too much mushy for most of you but it was one day i didn't want to forget! Thanks JOHN! And i can't wait to do this forever.....

6 and a half miles!!!

Well, today was quite the day. John had to be to work at 6:00 this morning, i wanted to car but i didn't want to wake up to take him to work so i told him i'd just come get it, it's only 2 miles and i could use a good run. Well, i wanted to go for a run, but a little bit longer than 2 miles so i took a road i don't usually take.....well to make a long story short, it ended up taking a little longer than i planned for my run...it was good though, and now i'm sore. Last nightw as fun, we went bowling with John's friend Branon from work, it was fun and it had been a long time since we bowled, Branon made sure we got some pictures taken ;)

Decorating, decorating, decorating....

I am absolutly obsessed with decorating these days (just ask my husband), i'm just so sick of the boring nature-y look of my house and i just want it to look like us, and right now it doesn't.... so, i'm trying to figure out the look i want, what is actually me??? And i'm working on it, and i think it's coming....slowly but surely.... sometime i will get it figured out, but in the meantime, does anyone have any ideas???? Here's some pics i like ;) I love the bed and colors, and in the other one, i love the couch!

These headboards are awesome ideas, dont' you think?

Man i love this bathroom and i love the living room too, especially the wood things above the one couch.... But now what do i do???

John gone hunting...

While John went hunting, Natalie and ihad a little fun of our own. We went to dinner at some Chinese buffett, i wouldn't necessarliy recommend it to anyone but it did make for some interesting options, and keep in mind, we're both not really seafood peole.....
Just shrimp, no big deal.... but here's the rest Is this how you eat it??? I guess not.....

Nat is soooooo adventurous and i never even knew ;)
But we ate occtupus, crab, oysters, shrimp and salmon.... i think that was it.
It was a good weekend, i was going to get a lot done, but i didn't really get anything done... At least i had fun, oh and as for the mighty hunters...they didn't get anything dang it! Maybe next year. I'll have to back off on the deer eating to make it last! (P.S. John took his camera on the hunting trip but lost it part way through, so sorry, no pictures of him this time)
